Northwood's good start to the season came to a shuddering halt as they conceded six goals to Didcot Town who also put six past Oxford the previous week.

Woods' cause wasn't helped by the unavailability of a number of players, although the scoreline doesn't reflect the improved second-half performance.

Against a very good Didcot side Northwood produced the better chances in the opening period, yet found themselves down by three goals.

Just before half-time, a goal from Will Hudson brought the Woods back into the game but any hopes they may have harboured of getting back into the match were finally ended after sixty minutes as Woods fell further behind.

Despite their improved showing in the second half, the side again conceded to go further behind to a peach of a goal, but then manage to claw one back from Ryan Lee.

Northwood's miserable night was made complete as they conceded another well executed goal just before full time.
